Y-Type Flanged Strainer

The flanged Y-strainer removes unwanted particles carried by liquids, gases and steam, such as rust, scale and welding slag. Installing a strainer upstream helps protect valves and other equipment in the system, including pumps, meters, control valves, steam traps and regulators.
