Dry Alarm Valve
The Dry Alarm Valve is an alarm valve assembly designed for dry-pipe sprinkler fire protection systems in which the piping contains compressed air instead of water. It is particularly suitable for areas at risk of freezing, cold stores, open car parks and unheated spaces. When the system activates, the valve opens to admit water into the piping and supports operation of the alarm equipment. The valve has a GGG40 ductile iron body, flanged connections and a maximum operating temperature of 80°C. The set includes the dry alarm valve body, pressure switch, alarm gong, air supply equipment and accelerator. It provides a reliable and durable solution for fire protection projects requiring a dry-pipe system.
