HTC-46 Temperature-Adjustable Bimetallic Steam Trap
The HTC-46 temperature-controlled bimetallic steam trap is a robust thermostatic trap designed to withstand corrosion and water hammer. Its adjustable discharge temperature makes it suitable for steam tracing lines and storage tanks.
The trap maintains a preset temperature between 50°C and 200°C, which should be set at least 15°C below the steam saturation temperature. Its bimetallic element responds to temperature changes to open and close the valve, using the sensible heat in condensate to support energy savings.
