HTF-46 Free-Float Bimetallic Steam Trap
The HTF-46 free-float bimetallic steam trap is a thermostatic steam trap. It uses the sensible heat in condensate to help save energy and is well suited to superheated steam applications.
Its hot-forged steel body houses a bimetallic thermostatic element. Like other thermostatic traps, it responds to temperature changes and separates steam from cooler non-condensable gases. It is commonly used on steam tracing lines and storage tanks.
